Why Sugaring Is Better Than Waxing
Sugaring uses a paste made from just three ingredients — sugar, lemon juice, and water. No resins, no artificial chemicals, nothing that sticks to live skin cells. That’s why sugaring is gentler, less irritating, and better suited for sensitive skin than traditional waxing.
Unlike wax, which pulls against the direction of hair growth, sugar paste is applied and removed with the natural direction of growth — significantly reducing breakage, ingrown hairs, and post-treatment redness. Results last 4–6 weeks, and with regular appointments hair typically grows back finer over time.

How to Prepare for Your Sugaring Appointment
Following these steps ensures the smoothest, most comfortable session — especially important for first-time clients.
- Let hair grow to at least ¼ inch — about 2–3 weeks from your last shave. New clients: stop shaving a minimum of 2 weeks before your appointment.
- Lightly exfoliate the treatment area the day before. This lifts dead skin cells so the paste grips hair cleanly.
- Skip lotions, oils, and moisturizers on the day of your appointment. Clean, dry skin gives the best results.
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing after your appointment to prevent friction on freshly treated skin.
- Stay hydrated. Well-hydrated skin is more pliable and makes the process more comfortable.
- Avoid intense workouts, tanning beds, and prolonged sun exposure for 24 hours beforehand.

Important Policies
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations should be made a minimum of four hours before your appointment. Call or text us to cancel or you can cancel online through the Vagaro booking app. Cancellations cannot be done through social media.
Membership Terms
- All memberships require a 3-month minimum commitment.
- 10% discount applies to regularly priced services and retail products only.
- Discount does not apply to packages or additional memberships.
- Lash extension services are excluded from member discounts.
- Cancellation requires 30 days written notice to admin@sugaredsol.com.
Package Policy
- All packages are non-refundable.
- Services must be used by the same guest who purchased the package.
- Bikini Skin Brightener Series is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Sessions should be used within a reasonable timeframe — contact the studio for details.
